Each year the Knights of Columbus in union with the Catholic schools in our State arrange a Free Throw Contest. The event is held during a two-day period of which the school kids participate according to their age bracket. Each winner goes on to the District Finals, then, all the way up to the state level. The picture to the left reflects some of those who have volunteered led by Chairman SK John Chis.  The pictures attached to the link below reflect the smiles of kids at St. Edward Catholic School as they compete. Thank you to the school for allowing this event and for those who made it possible.

How to Join

Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to practicing Catholic men in union with the Holy See, who are at least 18 years old. A practicing Catholic is one who lives up to the Commandments of God and the precepts of the Church. Being a Knight is more than camaraderie; it is being involved with your community; it is supporting your local Catholic Church, while enhancing your own faith; it is about protecting and enhancing your family life.  Application blanks are available from any member of the Knights of Columbus.
